Pablo Picasso and Manierre Dawson: Separate Paths to Similar Destinations

Art Historian Randy J. Ploog of the College of Arts and Architecture at Pennsylvania State University explores how untrained Chicago artist Manierre Dawson created works like Meeting (The Three Graces) (1912), which appears to be Cubist-derived but was actually painted before Dawson discovered Picasso's work.

This lecture was recorded on September 30, 2011.
